COOKING & PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

All Valiant's Field Grown products are pre-cooked and can be consumed directly out of the package. Use the directions below to learn how to REHEAT your product perfectly!

If your product is dry, or becomes too chewy/rubbery, you have overcooked it! All of our meat should be tender with a lightly chewy mouth-feel! 

     

    Sliced Deli Meat (ham, roast beest, turkey)

    1. Defrost your Field Grown meat in fridge 
    2. Enjoy cold on your favourite sandwich
    3. OR: warm up in a pan on medium temperature for 3 minutes. Flip 1/2 way through

    Pastrami

    Pastrami can be enjoyed cold like any of our deli meats, but can also be warmed:

    1. Defrost your Field Grown meat in fridge. DO NOT OPEN PACKAGING
    2. Fill a pot with enough water to submerge package of meat & bring to a boil
    3. Reduce to a simmer
    4. Submerge entire package in simmering water and heat for 3-5 minutes
    5. Carefully remove - use caution as package will be hot - and slice open package

     

    Rack of Ribz

    1. Defrost your Field Grown meat in fridge
    2. OVEN: Cook in the oven for about 15 minutes on 350 degrees or until warmed through
    3. BBQ: Preheat BBQ. Heat ribz over indirect heat for 3-5 minutes per side. apply extra BBQ sauce from packaging before serving

     

    Sausages

    1. Defrost your Field Grown meat in fridge
    • OVEN: Cook in the oven for about 15 minutes on 350 degrees or until warmed through
    • BBQ: Preheat BBQ. Heat sausage over indirect heat for 5-7 minutes, turning at least once. Apply your favourite BBQ sauce before finishing for a little extra flavour!
    • Pan: Heat your pan on med-high. Heat sausage for 10 minutes, flipping half-way through

     

    Burger Patties & Churkey Cutlets

    1. Defrost your Field Grown meat in fridge
    • OVEN: Cook in the oven for about 15 minutes on 350 degrees or until warmed through
    • BBQ: Preheat BBQ. Heat patty over indirect heat for 5-7 minutes, turning at least once. Apply your favourite BBQ sauce before finishing for a little extra flavour!
    • Pan: Heat your pan on med-high. Heat patty for 10 minutes, flipping half-way through

     

    Any Roast

    1. Defrost your Field Grown meat in fridge
    2. Cook in the oven for 25-35 minutes on 350 degrees or until warmed through
    3. Baste your roast and rotate during cooking for best results

     

    Bacun

    1. Defrost your Field Grown meat in fridge
    2. Heat a pan on med-high
    3. Use oil liberally (optional) & place your strips of bacun in pan for 2 minutes
    4. Flip and cook on reverse side for another 2-3 minutes
    5. Leave in pan longer for crispier bacun
